This was a project of mine to create a believable rap video for the song "Rebirth" by A$AP Ferg which features on his latest album, "Always Strive and Prosper".
The first step was to contact my friends and co-founders of Gnarkill Productions, Leslie Sharpe and Morgan Harris.
I then came up with a title.
"Fresh"
These are 3 of the almost subliminal words which feature midway through. They are nonsensical. They were created using Adobe Illustrator and I added the .png files to the video.

For this video I wanted to incorporate many of the note able features of one of today's rap videos which for the most part strongly conform to their genre, this made my self-set challenge easier. Fast movements, often to the beat, super close-ups, a dingy setting with a few gazes down the barrel of the lens, looking tough and the element of possible danger. The abrupt ending is to give a sense of urgency and uncertainty leaving it up to the viewer to decide if it's truly over.
